Tom Brady kept the awards rolling today picking up the Offensive Player of the Year. Don't you just hate when awards go to these ingrates that don't quite act like they just won the Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstakes? Eschewing individual goals for team goals just makes Tom Brady boring and furthers the notion that he's just not as warm and cuddly as Peyton Manning and LaDainaian Tomlinson (who fresh off his award for "All Around Great Guy of the Year Award" is in line for the "Just Shut Up You Jackass Award" for turning into a jerk this year).
Congrats Tom. Now let's go for the individual award trifecta with a Superbowl MVP.
I'm guessing Frank Cooney voted for Wes Welker here because Welker has less physical gifts to work with and the preseason expectations for him were so much lower than what he produced.
Unholy Quotables
"With every question he asked, it became clearer that despite any declaration to the contrary, he viewed me as an adversary. Rather than seeking to elicit information, his questioning sought to elicit a conclusion that he had reached before the hearing began."

Part of me will be rooting for SD to upset Indy just for the pleasure of seeing the Pats whack LT's whiny ass, and do the "lights out" dance in Merriman's face.
I agree completely. The problem with Indy is that they are too vanilla and no matter how many times LT or Merriman dance, there will be no mocking or vengence. This is what happens when you play for Stupid Flanders. Unfortunately, our chief mocker is Roosevelt Colvin who is out for the season, but I'd expect Mike Vrabel, Vince Wilfork (new dirtiest player in the NFL), and Junior Seau to take up the reigns. Of course Seau is already beyond cringe-worthy with his fist pump after every play (must be a San Diego thing).
I heard there's one lone vote for Brett Favre as the Offensive POY... so your reasonable extrapolation for Frank is probably giving him too much credit.
Is it only obvious to east coast fans that LT and his pouting gang are a bunch of whiners? Over here at the west coast people think that group is "class-act"
Frank Cooney is a moron. There's always a few media types that want to over think everything and show how alternative and contrarian they can be - even when the obvious choice is smacking them in their fat, pimple riddled faces.
